The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, contractors (Respondents) who are capable of undertaking the Goderich Artificial Reef project as noted in the RFPQ documents.
The Goderich artificial reef project will commence in Fall 2026. The project will consist of constructing three nearshore reef structures for wave attenuation, diversify fish habitat, and grading of land-based access to the site at the terminus of an existing access road. The work will also include grading relocated sand material on the existing shore, from the water’s edge to bluff toe.
The issuance of this RFPQ is the first stage in a two-stage process. It is anticipated that a request for tender (RFT) will be issued within 60 days after the closing of this RFPQ.
The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority’s intent is to pre-qualify suitable contractors, who will ultimately be invited to bid on the Goderich Artificial Reef Project. |
